Firewall
Relationships
Early On
A Firewall shows up steady. Not flashy, not full of big declarations — just reliably protective, in a way a partner usually notices and appreciates fast. Bills get handled. Risk gets caught early. Things feel safe.
Long-Term
The friction builds slowly: decisions made fast and alone, even well-intentioned ones, start to feel to a partner like they're being protected instead of included, rather than protected
alongside. Nobody enjoys finding out about a big financial move after it's already done.
What They Need From a Partner
Not someone who questions the instinct — someone who asks to be told, not just protected silently. A partner who can be looped in without slowing the reflex down is the whole difference here.
Compatibility Notes
Host or Ringleader (Flow + Collective types): bring warmth and spontaneity that balances a Firewall's guardedness, and don't mind the Firewall handling protection — as long as they're told about it. Another Firewall or a Scout (also fast + Independent): two people protecting alone, in parallel, without coordinating — blind spots multiply instead of covering each other.
