An Idea That Isn't Real Until It's Shared
A Counselor has a bold idea, and their very first instinct is to bring it to the people it would affect — not to ask permission, exactly, but because the idea doesn't feel fully real to them until it's been talked through with people they trust.
This isn't indecision. It's a genuine belief that a plan gets better — and safer — when more than one person has looked at it.
When Consensus Becomes the Delay
The risk is that "let's talk it through" can quietly become "let's never quite finish talking it through," especially once enough people are involved that full agreement gets harder to reach.
